Getting Started
How do I know if you’re a good fit for our family?
We offer a free 15-minute consultation to any family interested in our services. The purpose of these consultations is for both Growth in Action and a specific family to gather more information and determine if we are a good fit for working together.
What should I do if I’m interested in moving forward?
Please complete this initial interest form at the bottom of this page and a Growth in Action staff member will contact you.
Insurance/Payment For Services
Do you take insurance?
Dr. Alyssa King accepts BCBS insurance. She is out-of-network for all other major insurances.
Dr. Rhea Chase is out-of-network for all major insurances.
If we do not take your insurance, we will provide documentation that you can submit to your insurance company for partial reimbursement.
Our goal is to provide services that are comprehensive, timely, and individualized to child and family needs. We want to make decisions about your child’s care directly with you, rather than having an insurance executive decide on the course of care.
How much do your services cost?
Cost varies depending on the individualized service we provide. We will provide a cost estimate for your entire course of services after an initial meeting.
Do you accept Health Savings Account, Flexible Savings Account, or Health Reimbursement Account (HSA/FSA/HRA) debit cards?
Likely, yes. If you have a pre-tax account set aside for healthcare expenses, you can use the debit card associated with that account to pay for services. Alternatively, you can pay us directly and submit your receipt to that account for reimbursement.
How do I ask my insurance about out of network benefits?
Even though we don't bill insurance plans directly, many families receive some reimbursement for services from their insurance company. You can contact your insurance and ask about "Out-of-Network Coverage".
Here's what to ask:
What are my out-of-network benefits?
How much is my deductible?
After I meet my deductible, what percentage of the visit cost will I be reimbursed for?
Up to how much can I be reimbursed for:
60 minute intake appointment (CPT Code 90791)
Neuropsychological Testing (CPT Code 96136 for the first 30 minutes, CPT Code 96137 for each additional 30 min)
Neuropsychological Services (CPT Code 96132 or the first 60 minutes, CPT Code 96133 for each additional hour)
60 minute feedback session (CPT Code 96133)
60 minute psychotherapy session (CPT Code 90837)
50 minute family psychotherapy session without child present (CPT Code 90846)
50 minute family psychotherapy session with child present (CPT Code 90847)
Do I have a limit of how many units of each code I can get reimbursed for?
How do I submit a claim with the receipt my doctor gave me?
